Africa Footprints Guesthouse opened in January 2008, we are a
4-star luxurious, upmarket boutique hotel situated in a tranquil,
safe suburban setting only 7km from the International O.R Tambo
Airport, and within walking distance of Shopping centres and
Restaurants.
We have 14 en-suite rooms all with their own entrances. all our
rooms are non-smoking but we do have designated areas on the
property for smokers.
We provide secure parking and we can gladly provide Airport
transfers on request. Our establishment can also arrange daily tour
packages through our trusted tour operators.
All our rates include bed and breakfast.
Our breakfast consists of a continental breakfast such as fresh
fruit, cereal, yoghurt, coffee, tea, toast, bread, eggs, bacon,
sausages, and more that you can enjoy in our dining room
overlooking the beautiful gardens.
Dinner is only prepared on request or you can enjoy dinner at
any of the 15 restaurants within walking distance from our
guesthouse. All our meals are prepared the traditional South
African way.....Come and enjoy "boerekos" as we would say.
We have a fully stocked bar and lounge area where you can sit
down and relax sipping away on a sundowner next to the pool side.
All our rooms are equipped with satellite TV on channels 1 to 12 in
the comfort of your own room.
We have a lovely swimming pool area where you can have
traditional "braais"/barbeques once a week, our swimming pool is
solar heated for those who would like to have a swim.
Pure South African coffee is served on a daily basis in the
dining room and lunch can be served on request. All our furniture
is made of typical African railway sleepers, the decorations and
walls are earthy colours, we have natural wood furniture and
authentic paintings hanging all over the guesthouse. The guesthouse
is build of natural material and at our place we are striving to
live eco-friendly.
For the corporate side we have a lovely conference room which
can take up to 46 delegates, our conference room are naturally
cooled and it has its own private bathroom, overhead projector,
sound system, white board, tables and chairs. We can cater for
small functions, weddings, conferences, etc. We will plan the venue
arrangement according to your needs. Our conference facility has a
big screen for those sport fanatics.
For those who would like to come and visit family in Gauteng but
don't always have a place to stay - we have a self-catering unit
across the road from us with its own private parking, open lan
dining and lounge area, fully equipped kitchen, 2 1/2 bathrooms, 3
rooms which can sleep 6 people. Cleaning can be provided on a daily
basis on request

From O.R Tambo International Airport/Boksburg(East Rand)
Take the R21 in the direction of Pretoria. Take the Kempton Park
turn-off and stay in the middle lane. Move with the traffic to the
left and immediately turn right (i.e. Benoni/Pomona Road, if by
accident you didn't turn right don't worry, carry on straight until
you get to Monument Road and turn right. Follow directions from
there)
Pass Boundry Silk Basaar and at the robot turn left into
Highveld Road. Pass Avion Park (Family Fitness Centre) on right
hand side, turn right in Pienaar Street. Continue along Pienaar "
The name changes to Concourse crescent "over 5 stop streets
"intersections", Turn right in Crestwood ave. The big house on the
corner.
From Monument Road. Turn right in Monument KFC and Mica on your
right. Continue Down Monument over all the intersections with
traffic lights, past Mc Donalds , Police Station, Engen Garage, Van
Ribeeck ave. Cross the First 4 way Stop intersection at the Total
Garage. Turn Right in to Concourse and immediately Left in
Crestwood ave, the big house on the corner.
From Pretoria/R21
Get onto the R21, take the bapsfontein/Kaalfontein/Modderfontein
exit towards left. Turn left onto the R25 (this road goes
underneath the R21 highway).At the first robot you turn left onto
the Old Pretoria Road, over 2 robots "intersections" you turn left
onto Vlei Street, over 1 stop "intersection" you turn left onto
Veld Street (Zenex garage on your left), at the next robot you turn
right onto Dann Road (Glen Acres shopping centre on your left), at
the first robot you turn right onto Monument Road (Woodbridge Mall
on left), over 2 "intersections" you turn left onto Concourse Road
- we are on the left-hand corner.
