Woodpecker's Inn Guesthouse opened in May 2008 & provides accommodation to
international, corporate travellers & families.  Our staff are more than willing to assist you
where possible to make you feel comfortable and at home.

Marnie Louw comes from a four star hotel and is highly trained in the Hospitality

ACCOMMODATION

Woodpecker's Inn has 5 en-suite spacious and luxurious guest rooms available. Each room sleeps 2 guests and has its own private entrance.

Our first floor rooms have been designed in such a way that it can be converted
into one large family room.

Each room is individually decorated.

Our 5^th room is also a honeymoon suite with an aircon & an open plan
bathroom with a shower and a free standing bath.

Our Rooms

Crested Barbet - This ground level room  is equipped with a bathroom with shower and has a covered balcony

The Hoopoe - This room is also on the ground floor and is equipped with a bath.

The Black Collared - This room is on the first floor with a covered balcony and a bathroom
with a shower.

The Grey Laurie - This room is also on first floor equipped with bathroom and shower, as well as covered balcony.

Cape Robin - This roomwill be perfect for newly weds.  First
floor with a private balcony, open plan bathroom with shower and free standing
bath with an aircon.

4 of our rooms have two single beds that can be converted into a king size bed. All have built in cupboards with a desk chair and a comfy chair just to relax on.

This
is a NON SMOKING Guest House but please feel free to smoke on the front of the
stoep or balcony.

A digital safe is available for valuables as management will not be held
responsible for any losses.

1.  Departing from OR Tambo International Airport, drive north on the R21 towards Pretoria.
 Take the Freight / Voortrekker Road (Kempton Park) turn-off.

2.  Follow Voortrekker Road all the way till Monument Road.
 (KFC on your left; MICA Hardware on your right).

 3.  At the intersection with Monument Road turn right.
(Police Station to your left and McDonalds to your right).

 4.  Travel down Monument Road for about 4.5km.

 5.  You will enter the suburb named Aston Manor.

 6.  Pass over the traffic circle with a Total garage on your left.

 7.  Travel over the 1st set of traffic lights.

 8.  At the 2nd set of traffic lights, turn left intoDann Road.

 9.  First streetright, Geelhaak Road.

 10.  First streetleft, Appelblaar Avenue.

11.  First streetright, Frangipani Avenue.

 12.  Turn right into Driedoring Avenue,continue down to Nr. 29 on the corner.

Directions fromPretoria

 1.  Travel on the R21 towards OR Thambo InternationalAirport.

 2.  Take the Pomona turn-off.

 3.  At the traffic lights turn right into PomonaRoad.

 4.  Continue down Pomona Road for about 2km (Noark Timber to your left and Engen Garage to your right).

 5.  Pass the Engen Garage and at the next set of traffic lights (before the bridge),
     turn right.

6.  Turn right at the T-junction into Dann Road.

7.  Travel down Dann Road until the intersection with Monument Road. 
(Woodbridge Shopping Centre now on your left and Home 2 Home Estate Agency on your
     right)

8.  Continue down Dann Road, turn left intoGeelhaak Road.

9.  First streetleft, Appelblaar Avenue.

10.  First streetright, Frangipani Avenue.

 11.  Turn  right into Driedoring Avenue, continue down to Nr. 29 on the corner.
